Season’s Greetings from OBLIC!

As we turn the page into a new year, we’d like to share a few reflections and highlight some of the new and expanded services available to you at OBLIC.

Throughout 2025, we remained steadfast in our commitment to providing industry-leading customer service across all departments—Claims & Loss Prevention, Underwriting, and Finance & IT. This year, we introduced two customer-focused enhancements designed to save you time and provide greater transparency:

• Quick Quote Portal – allowing small firms to answer a few simple questions to receive a ballpark estimate, offering greater clarity and convenience.
• Auto-pay for premium payments – helping you save time and streamline billing through the myOBLIC portal.

Our Loss Prevention Team supported hundreds of policyholders through the Loss Prevention & Ethics Hotline, helping policyholders navigate real-world ethics and practice challenges before they become claims. These efforts included guidance on conflicts, client management, advertising, fees, and more. In addition, Loss Prevention expanded CLE offerings statewide, delivering more than 30 CLE programs to attorneys through the OSBA and local bar associations.

Meanwhile, Claims Counsel and OBLIC’s experienced defense panel achieved trial and appellate successes on behalf of policyholders, protecting policyholders’ professional reputations and financial interests, while fairly resolving legitimate claims. OBLIC’s commitment to consistent and principled coverage evaluation remains as strong as ever.

Throughout the year, OBLIC continued to be a proud champion of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Foundation, and local bar associations across the state. We encourage you to remember OBLIC as a resource when planning events and seminars.
